Images by Rochdale The past 12 months have been some of the most

Photographic Society challenging for the historic Rochdale Photographic
Society which is now in its 131st year of existence.

Instead of meeting in person every week, like lots
of groups they have shifted online to virtual
meetings with great success over the past year.

The society has continued to host regular talks
from its members about various subjects, invited
guest speakers to host evenings, and managed to

continue with their annual and quarterly
competitions, selected entries from which are
         shown here.

The Rochdale Photographic Society is a friendly
club and despite the recent adversity, has
welcomed new, younger photographers to the
society. The new members have recently placed
well in the society’s internal competitions and
received commendations for their excellent images
         in regional exhibitions.
