Created in the early 1980s by Tim Whittaker and Gregory Couzens, this striking cut remains as fresh and contemporary today as it was more than four decades ago. It is a reminder that true creativity never goes out of fashion.
The look was built on a combination of technical skill and artistic vision. A carefully placed root perm created lift and volume through the crown, while the ends were left free to showcase bold colour and natural movement. The result was a hairstyle full of texture, softness and confidence.

Looking at the photograph today, it is remarkable how modern it still appears. The shape, texture and effortless finish would not look out of place in a contemporary fashion collection.
