Based in Rochdale, Get Together After Serving (GTAS) CIC is dedicated to supporting military veterans, their families, and the broader Rochdale community through holistic mental and physical health initiatives, driven by a strong mission and community-focused values.
Founded by Adam Trennery, GTAS was built from his own lived experience. Adam recognised a significant gap in the support available to veterans as they transitioned back into civilian life, with too many facing the challenges of reintegration alone while struggling with housing, financial hardship, employment, and their mental wellbeing.
Determined that no veteran should ever feel forgotten or left behind, he established GTAS to provide practical, person-centred support that makes a real difference.
GTAS provide veterans with practical assistance with accommodation, household bills, food shopping, employment opportunities, welfare advice, and signposting to specialist services, ensuring that those who have served never have to face life’s challenges alone.
What began as a mission to support veterans has grown into an organisation that is at the heart of the community, providing opportunities, support, and inclusion for people of all ages.
