Winter 2023Class of 2023 students celebrate at Hopwood Hall graduation ceremony
There was plenty of glitz and glamour as Hopwood Hall College and University Centre held its annual Higher Education Graduation and Awards Ceremony.
The college – which offers a growing range of university-level courses across its two campuses in Middleton and Rochdale – held the event at the Norton Grange Hotel in Castleton.
It was a very joyous affair, with friends and family packing out the venue to celebrate with the ambitious graduates.
The Class of 2023 all had their moment to shine, with each person donning the traditional cap and gown as they accepted their diploma on stage to huge rounds of applause.
In addition, three graduates received an extra special honour as they picked up one of the coveted Higher Education Awards. This year’s first winner was Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training student Chantal Wilson, who took home the gong for Academic Excellence.
She was followed by HND Games Art and Development student Ryan Marshall, who was named the winner of the Award for Outstanding Research.
Finally, Foundation degree in Early Years Childhood Studies graduate Katie-Leigh Corey won the Award for Remarkable Achievement and Dedication.
