Summer 2023Vinesteins: the newest place to eat and drink in Rochdale town centre

Vinesteins on The Walk has become the newest food and drink venue in Rochdale town centre after opening at the start of May.

Local chef Austin Hopley, who has worked in hospitality for over 10 years, and his team pulled out all the stops to serve up menu samples, from roasted jalapeño and cheddar scones with an array of flavoured butters to premium Portuguese wines such as vinho verde.

With a selection of small plates, cheese boards and wines, Vinesteins aims to be a cosy lunchtime venue before transforming into a romantic evening setting. Ingredients are sourced locally and are British where possible, with Vinesteins working alongside ethical brands such as Sea Change Wines and Brightside Brewery.

He said: “It’s very humbling that we have been able to create a community hub that so many people have enjoyed. It’s also been a fun experience working with so many great people, and the amount of support we have received has been overwhelming.

“We are filled with excitement to see where our newest venture will take us.”
