Summer 2023Rochdale town centre pub named best for real ale for 8th year running
The Flying Horse Hotel has been named Rochdale’s best pub for real ale for the eighth year running.
Run by the Lancashire Hospitality Co-operation, the Packer Street venue has once again been named Rochdale Pub of the Year by Rochdale, Oldham & Bury branch of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale.
The Flying Horse Hotel has previously been named Greater Manchester’s Pub of the Year for two years running, putting the venue amongst the top 16 in the UK.
Landlord Ben Boothman said: “A huge congratulations to the whole Flyer family.
“[For] eight years straight, the Flyer has been named the number one ale pub in Rochdale and we are extremely proud.”
A second LHC pub, The Baum on Toad Lane, came in as runner-up.
