Autumn 2022Milnrow & Newhey Districts Community Carnival
Hundreds of people lined the streets on Saturday 18 June for the first ever eco-friendly Milnrow & Newhey Community Districts Community Carnival. This year’s theme was ‘celebration’ which saw people commemorating: the NHS, the 80s, life, and much more.
As always, many local groups, schools and businesses took part in the carnival including Milnrow Brass Band who fronted the parade followed by local MP, Sir Tony Lloyd and Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Ali Ahmed
